Damstra Technology has an exciting opportunity for a talented Systems Trainer to join our rapidly expanding team.

Based in one of our Australian offices (Newcastle, Singleton or Melbourne) and reporting to the Education Lead, the role will involve working within our wider Implementation team as an integral member of our Education team. Exceptional communication skills and being naturally adept with technology are both essential, along with an optimistic and driven approach to life. A sense of humour would be an added bonus!

 Roles and responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver training to internal staff and external clients/customers, both online and on-site
  • Travel to visit clients and/or worksites, as required, to deliver one-on-one, small group or classroom-style Damstra Systems training
  • Become an expert in all Damstra Systems and stay up to date with changes as they occur
  • Engage with end users and assist them in realising efficiencies able to be created within the workplace through the successful adoption of Damstra’s Systems
  • Create and evolve training material to ensure the successful uptake of knowledge from end users, alongside the Education team
  • Deliver outstanding customer communication and service at all times
  • Crave continuous improvement and always seek ways to create efficiencies

 To be successful in this role candidates should have:

  • Proven experience in preparing and delivering training for a variety of different audiences (2+ years)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Proven natural abilities with technology and able to pick up new systems with ease (very important)
  • The ability to readily understand and simplify complex ideas and processes
  • The ability to analyse learners and adapt training as required
  • Strong time management skills
  • Plenty of patience and understanding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A proactive, optimistic and confident approach
  • The ability to operate autonomously whilst being a great team player
